OK
because I was thinking about how most people tend to run their business,
I decided to share something really good with you today.
You are probably aware that goal-setting is one of the most powerful tools for putting your life in perspective. It doesn't just apply to your life. It applies to your business as well.
There are four types of goals every business owner should set:
1. Business expansion goals
2. Customer relationship goals
3. Strategic innovation goals
4. Sales/Marketing goals
You can set one to three goals per category.
When you set goals and review them daily, you're ahead of 97% of entrepreneurs out there who just go through life and business without a game plan.
You're less at the mercy of anyone or say competitors who don't have your best interest at heart.
Of course, you can add other different types of goals, but these are the bare minimum you need.
The big myth about goals is that they're set in stone. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Some goals will evolve over time as you make progress in business.
The point of having goals is to force you to project you mentally in the future and start designing your long term survival before situations compel you to close shop (SCARY!).
In my opinion, goal-setting is the #1 tool of success in business.
Have an amazing day!
