Why You Need Common Sense In The Foundation Of Your Marriage

It seems a lot of young people are so eager to get married these days that they ignore some important signals in their current relationship.

Many of them think that if things aren't perfectly okay with their current dating relationship, getting married and "sealing the deal" would fix everything.

Big mistake!

Marriage does not, and NEVER WILL, solve your problems.
As a matter of fact, marriage doesn't fix a relationship, it only MAGNIFIES what's already there.

So if your relationship is plagued by problems, marriage will MAGNIFY those problems. If your relationship is on-and-off, then your marriage will be EVEN MORE on-and-off.
Similarly, if your relationship is harmonious, then marriage will MAGNIFY the harmony. If it's fulfilling and enjoyable even when things are not yet in perfect shape, then your marriage will be even MORE enjoyable.

That's why it's extremely important to get the basics down before committing to a more serious relationship. You need to spend enough time to form the foundation of your relationship and make it strong enough to support a conjugality for decades upon decades.
