A Must Read For Every Serious Income Earner

Recently, I was revising the notes I took from a business training I attended sometime ago, so I decided to share with you an incredible business insight that will change your perspective.

Between earning linear income and passive income, which is better?
Well, to make sense of the question, let's attempt a distinction between linear and passive income. If you're being paid once per month for the work or services that you have provided, chances are you're earning a linear income.

Linear income is also called active income, where you earn one unit of income for one unit of your effort. To earn a linear income you also need to be present at your supposed workplace.
Hence, doctors, lawyers, hawkers, or practically every employed or self-employed person are earning linear income. If they don't attend to their clients, they don't get paid.

What about passive income?
It is an income that you continue earning even when you're not working.

Sounds unbelievable?

Believe it, as thousands or probably millions of people have made it. Passive income, also known as residual income, is a stream of income which you can earn many times, with your one unit of effort.

Let's briefly explore some examples of sources of passive income:

1. ROYALTY INCOME. Do you know that singers and song writers are paid royalties every time their songs are played on the radio/TV, regardless of how long ago they made it? This is a form of royalty income and the best part is, it continues for the rest of their lives. Of course this also includes those MLM home-based businesses.

2. DIVIDENDS. This can come from stock investments, where listed companies share their income with share holders in the form of cash or stock dividends. Dividends also come from mutual funds.

3. REAL ESTATES. Your real estates can be rented out to earn a good amount of passive income!

4. INTEREST INCOME. Interests from savings / fixed deposits.

5. WEBSITES. With increasing availability of internet, websites have become an effective place to sell your products and services to the growing population of internet users and earn big bucks!

People actually get rich by simply having multiple streams of passive income!
So, would you rather earn linear income or passive income?

Have an amazing day!

KILLER OPPORTUNITY OF THE CENTURY Imagine it's 1976 and you're outside, going for a walk in your neighbourhood. As you walk, you pass the neighbour's house whose garage is open... Inside, they're tinkering with computers - and you greet them... "Hey Steve!" -  you say... and behind them is a handwritten sign that reads "Apple Computers"... Knowing what you do now, would you walk past them - or instead try to get involved with their company? Cryptocurrency is a similar story. Once "just a fad" - the cryptocurrency industry currently sits at a market cap of over 1 trillion dollars! ...and today, over 300 million people own crypto. Over the next few years, I'd guess that billions will own crypto - and it is still very much in its infancy. So, after hearing that story about Apple, do you... A) Walk past this enormous opportunity (and perhaps regret it later)... OR... B) Get involved now - before it's too late...? Listen... if you don...

Stop Giving Excuses For Your Inertia

YOU must quiet the voice inside your head that offers excuses for not taking action and becoming the best that you can be. You must eliminate the thinking that you aren't "good on the microphone", or that you can't "be a great writer", or that you are "too busy to work on your potentials and reach for the stars". For any excuse you might try to offer, all that I can say is: Stop deceiving yourself. Stop talking about all the big dreams you have if you are NOT going to take responsibility for making those dreams come true. Stop encouraging your family and friends to change their lives if you're not going to make big changes in your own. Stop talking and start doing. Begin by doing the right thing – the hard thing – and get out of your own comfort zone and advance in life. When you do, people will notice. People will be inspired. People will follow you. It's not easy to inconvenience yourself in a bit to step up. It...
